Tsarzi
November 19 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

With an operatic voice and a flair for the theatrical, Tsarzi sings decadence kitsch for a world on the brink. Weaving the sublime with the ridiculous she moves across keys, loops and violin.
Her genre-defying style has been praised by Tom Robinson for BBC 6Music (‘The most imaginative record I heard all year’) and Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition (‘wonderfully bizarre’ – Fifty3 Musings); and her stage presence has been likened to Kate Bush ‘at her most Brechtian’ (Now Then) & ‘Victoria Wood on acid’ (Fringe Review).
Her latest album Gone to the Dogs is a darkly satirical portrait of nostalgia and national myth-making.
