Tom Hingley is the former lead singer of Manchester band Inspiral Carpet he sang on all the bands major label albums and all hit singles (This is How it Feels, Saturn Five , Dragging Me Down and Dragging Me Down are a few)
Tom performs solo or with 2 of his bands MacKayHingley with School friend who he was in the pre inspirals Too Much Texas bands in the 1980’s and the Karpets his Inspirals tribute band.
Tom is releasing a new solo album The Grand Mal in autumn 2023 it reflects the lockdown year. Catch Tom’s mix of inspirals classics , originals and mean Blues slide.
