The Dirt are Pennines based Anglo- Japanese noise makers. Their sound mixes heavy guitar “loops” laced with distortion and fuzz punchy percussion and a splattering of fast firing Lyrics. Imagine a spaceship built by Suicide and Spaceman3 being commandeered by The Fall’s Mark E Smith on a mission into the outer reaches and you’ll be halfway to what they sound like. lovers of post punk, new wave and garage 60s psych also may wish to apply for a seat on the trip!

The Actionists are a genre-defying duo from Halifax, consisting of art punk performance poet Keiron Higgins and dance producer/ pop star (Cuban Boys) Ricardo Autobahn. They will take you through their world one step to the left of reality via atmospheric electronics, ska-tinged pop and grimy glam-rock slabs of synth.
