Rob Edwards Book Launch

October 7 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Rob Edwards – Book Launch
An evening of Welsh Gothic poetry, music, stories and the darker side of the human imagination.
Join poet and performer Rob Edwards at the Puzzle Hall Community Pub for the launch of Hedgehogg Hiraeth – A Welsh Gothic Poetry Collection.
Rob will perform a selection of his dark, atmospheric and often unsettling poetry, exploring love, loss, death, mythology, madness and the strange places the human mind can wander.
Joining Rob is a fantastic line-up of poets and musicians from across Yorkshire and the Calder Valley:
🎸 Will Griffin – A blues artist and poet from Yorkshire who has lived much of his life in London.
📝 Dot Com – An expressive and funny poet, originally from Rotherham.
🎸 Ash Robinson – A Halifax punk drummer turned emotive Americana guitarist and singer.
🎸 Phil Greenwood – A Halifax Spanish guitar player who writes lyrical, character-filled shanties.
🎶 Michael Shaw – A prolific Halifax folk songwriter and member of the Boothtown Rats.
📝 Andy Greaves – A wonderful bard from the Calder Valley, an expressive poet who plays in three bands.
Expect an eclectic night of poetry, blues, folk, Americana, guitar and stories, with plenty of character and a healthy dose of the Gothic.
Whether you’re already familiar with Hedgehogg the Poet or you’ve never heard Rob’s work before, come along, grab a drink and experience an evening that’s about much more than simply launching a book.
