Mood Organ + The Leadensions

Leeds alternative band Mood Organ has always embraced weirdness. A passion project for 4 members with very different influences, EPs Slightseeing (2021) and Iconic Bench Scenes (2022), quickly raised heads at Only a Northern One, York Calling, The Punk Head and many more for their unique blend of eccentric lyrics and catchy riffs.

Their most ambitious project to date is their upcoming debut album, Cogs (releasing 15th August 2025). Focusing on the theme of AI consciousness, it features wide mix of sounds reminiscent of Muse, Radiohead and Pink Floyd. Powerful vocals star alongside ambitious arrangements contributions including a 22-piece choir and a historic pipe organ. Live, the band have headlined Otley Social Club and Leeds’ Eiger Studios, and played alongside established acts such as Bull (EMI/Young Thugs Records) and Mandrake Handshake.
