Jazz Night with 4 In 1

This month’s band goes by the name of 4 In 1

The line-up is as follows:

Jamil Sheriff, piano; Will Howard, saxophone; Sam Quintana, double bass; Steve Hanley, drums. 4 In 1 play music from the African American tradition, playing tribute to artists such as Thelonious Monk, Benny Golson, Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Led by Jamil Sheriff who was described in the Times as “…an excellent pianist who brings together a range of classic, contemporary and urban approaches.” This is a swinging affair that promises to remind you of all your favourite jazz musicians. However, expect a few twists along the way – the group do things their own way!

Free admission, collection towards the band taken; please be generous if you can.
