Jazz Night with Stuart McCallum

Stuart McCallum is a genre-defying guitarist, composer, and producer whose music weaves together jazz, ambient, and electronic textures. His solo performances of original material, alongside arrangements of old English folk songs, jazz standards and classical works are defined by spacious harmonic voicings, expressive use of reverb and delay, and melodic and virtuosic improvisation.

McCallum rose to prominence as guitarist with The Cinematic Orchestra from 2004-2012, performing on and contributing writing to their acclaimed albums Ma Fleur, Live at the Royal Albert Hall, and Disney’s award-winning The Crimson Wing soundtrack.

“A one-man guitar orchestra” — Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 6 Music
