Jazz Night with The John Ellis Trio

This month sees a long-awaited welcome visit from Puzzle Hall favourite John Ellis.

Ellis is a jazz musician, writer and producer from the North of England. He’s a pianist and vocalist who can transform songs and turn glib platitudes into sublime
statements of the human condition.

In his long career he has played and recorded with Corinne Bailey Rae, The Cinematic Orchestra, Mica Paris, The Breath, James Yorkston, and John Squire (Stone Roses).
His new-ish trio has Go-Go Penguin founder member Grant Russell on bass, and drummer Jimbo Breen.
