Cat’s Cradle

Cat’s Cradle are an acoustic 4-piece folk band playing inventive, intricately constructed original songs and tunes, by turns atmospheric, rhythmically driving and gentle. Using voice, mandolin, tenor banjo, piano, bodhran, whistle and cello, several traditions get woven in; from the very local to the UK to eastern Europe, prog and chamber music, all wetted down with a bit of northern rain. Cat’s Cradle are based in the lumpy South Pennines spanning the Lancashire-Yorkshire border.
