Abandoned Buildings + (Slab)
November 28 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

ABANDONED BUILDINGS are five friends who like to make noise in a dilapidated old mill in Bradford. They fuse elements of shoegaze, post-rock, psych & noise rock to create music that is occasionally fragile & minimalist, but primarily heavy, powerful and dense.
“Abandoned Buildings make music that feels like getting lost in a dream” – RGM
“Their creative vision reinvents shoegaze as a diaphanous-in-spite of distortion howl into the void” – A & R Factory.
Mancunian Post Rock three piece (Slab) create rich sonic landscapes full of thrilling dynamic shifts and texture but aren’t afraid to rock out in a satisfying post punk/ post hardcore fashion either.
” (Slab) have the smouldering piledriving dynamics of Pixies, the songwriting chops of Sleater Kinney and the post rock dark energy of shoegaze at its shimmering best” – Louder than war
“(Slab) effortlessly go against the grain making a shape-shifting brand of post-rock that’s a melodic, cinematic and blissful racket” – Sum 13
