Beginning our 2023 summer season of Sunday afternoon music that’s not too raucous is Sleepy Jake.
Jake is a singer songwriter from Bradford who pulls no punches with his gritty lyrics about how tough life can be, whilst the musical sound is very upbeat. He plays a mixture of original and covers of Folk-punk, Country Blues and Ragtime music with a mix of banjo and guitar.
