This First Thursday of the Year we welcome Alice Jones back to the Puzzle for LORE, our Folk and Roots music Night hosted by Gareth Scott.
Alice Jones is a singer, step-dancer and multi-instrumentalist from Ripponden in West Yorkshire, and one half of the highly acclaimed Yorkshire folk music duo Bryony Griffith & Alice Jones. She has grown up steeped in traditional music and dance from a young age and has performed at most of the prestigious folk festivals in the UK as well as touring in Europe and beyond.
Expect mainly traditional material accompanied with keyboard, harmonium, tenor guitar or body percussion along with a good dose of humour and folk geekery.
