Featuring Jones, who by now, is no stranger to the Puzzle, (he’s currently a member of the Puzzle’s ‘House Band’). Growing up in a musical family exposed him to a broad range of styles and his career reflects that; studying classical violin before focusing on the piano with jazz and improvisation.
Recently formed, the trio is completed with bassist Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley and drummer Johnny Hunter. His playing has been described as ‘achingly lyrical’ by ‘All About Jazz and ‘London Jazz News’ have noted his ‘scintillating piano inventions’.
Jones is a much-in demand pianist and is a member of the award winning, Manchester-based Beats & Pieces Big Band. He has also been involved in crossover projects with Manchester Camerata and Manchester Collective.
