A Rookery – progressive, contemporary folk band with many musical threads. Together, Gareth Scott (vocals/guitars), Jenny Bromley (vocals/guitars), Simon Chantler (fiddle/mandolin), Anthony “Smudge” Smith (bass/guitars) and Roger Burnett (drums/percussion) create a sound that can be papery light and cold as frost or rich and treacly with vinegar and molasses.
