SUMMARY:Lucy Kitchen + E.R. Thorpe + Official Claire (USA)
DESCRIPTION:Three distinctive voices in contemporary British and US songwriting come together for an intimate afternoon of folk\, Americana and atmospheric storytelling.\nHampshire-based LUCY KITCHEN combines the warmth of classic 1970s songwriting (think Nick Drake or Vashti Bunyan) with songs shaped by nature\, grief and transformation. Her acclaimed third album\, In the Low Light\, has established her as a quietly compelling voice in modern folk.\n‘Utterly beguiling’ – Clash Magazine\n‘A walk on the darker side of folk that gives Beth Gibbons a run for her money.’ – Louder Than War\n‘Outrageously beautiful’ – Joyzine\nhttps://www.lucykitchen.com/\nhttps://www.facebook.com/LucyKitchenMusic/\nhttps://lucykitchen.bandcamp.com/\nhttps://www.youtube.com/@LucyKitchenMusic\nNottinghamshire songwriter and visual artist E.R. THORPE‘s music sounds at once ancient and comntemporary bringing to mind the likes of Beth Orton\, Aldous Harding or PJ Harvey. Her darkly\, cinematic music combines unusual finger-picked guitar with vivid\, emotionally charged storytelling and has received strong support from BBC Radio 6 Music.\n‘Her voice can be as sweet as a young girl or burn with a quiet fire.’ – Truth & Lies Music\n‘She creates a fantastical atmosphere’ – Left Lion\nhttps://erthorpe.bandcamp.com/\nhttps://www.youtube.com/@erthorpemusic\nhttps://www.facebook.com/erthorpemusic/\nChicago singer-songwriter Official Claire combines laid-back indie rock with whispery folk. Her witty lyrics tackle the trails of romantic life with a wry charm that combines sensitivity and straight talk whilst the music itself can be both dreamily forlorn and a groovy good time.\n“She has a rock and roll grit with dreamy ambiance that appeals across genres and generations.” – Smiling Politely\n“Her songs possess deep wit\, mischief\, and beautiful hooks” – Solid Sound\nhttps://www.officialclairemusic.com/\nhttps://officialclaire.bandcamp.com/\nhttps://www.instagram.com/officialclairemusic/
