Rob Edwards (@hedgehogg_the_poet) is an innovative Welsh Poet and spoken word artist.
Rob has lived in Calderdale with his wife Cath for the last 35 years.
In 2023 Rob self published his debut poetry collection ‘The Naked Hedgehogg’. Rob’s second collection ‘Hedgehogg Unleashed’ was published earlier this year.

Phil Greenwood: Hi, I’m Phil, Frustrated pirate and wild West outlaw.
I write my own songs and poetry on these two subjects.

Michael Shaw: I love music and poetry. The songs I write are sort of indie-folk (ish). I am half of an acoustic duo – The Boothtown Rats, where I get to play some of my songs at gigs which gives me an enormous buzz. When I sing one of my own songs and don’t get bottles thrown at me I’m happy.
I also enjoy setting other peoples poetry to verse, including Robs stuff.

Ash Robinson: I was raised to love punk music, from the classics of the late 70s to the hardcore UK 82 scene. I played in some cover bands when young but I didn’t really cut my teeth until I joined a punk band, The Allergics, in my late 20s.

I left the band a couple of years ago to focus on writing my own music, drawing on the acoustic, folk and Americana influences that I’ve taken on in later years, though there’ll always be a place in my heart for the band and for punk.

Sean Byrne: Very much a product of the 1970,s early 80,s Rockabilly revival movement. Obsessed with music from the 40,s and 50,s. Country, Hillbilly, Rockabilly and good old fashioned Rock n Roll.
Founder member and lead singer with The Weedwackers band and an occasional wannabe singer songwriter.
